Yesterday was Administrative Professionals' Day (aka Secretaries' Day), and I made out like a bandit! First of all I already knew I was being taken out to lunch with the other secretaries at Bermuda Run -- fancy country club/gate community down the road. We partook of a fantabulous buffet with salad and soup and yummy food and rich desserts. I thought that was plenty good enough, but before that two instructors came around giving out roses and little gift cards to a local restaurant! Awesome!
We also went to the park. The park we walked in last Friday has an even better walking path (actually it's a fitness trail with workout stations) across the street. So we went there yesterday and walked about 2 miles. It was very flat and easy on the feet because instead of pavement the walkway was more like a mix between a very fine gravel and packed dirt. There were lots of people walking.
